At 3Degrees we are always looking into new materials and capabilities, so we are proud to announce that we can now offer our clients ultra high resolution 3D printed objects suitable for investment casting. This tech utilizes our SLA style printers in conjunction with a specially formulated castable resin.
Potential applications include jewelry making and any project which requires small, very high precision metal parts. This ash-less resin preserves surface detail perfectly, has very little thermal expansion and burns away cleanly. “Trees” and groups of parts can be 3D printed at once go saving a lot time over fabricating and assembling armatures.
